What is the activated carbon used in WaterMAXX?
Activated carbon is charcoal which has been slow burned to increase the pores in the carbon. This increases the amount of contaminants the carbon can remove. Our carbon already has more pores than wood or other charcoals. Activating it allows a surface of 500 SM to 1500 SM per gram. Pretty AMAZING!
